Free memory on Android ?

Although I have enough memory on my phone (Android) and also a SD card into it, when trying to install a new app from the store, I get an error message that not enough memory available. Why cannot the free memory be used ? I read that some apps use the main memory to cache data, how could I get rid of the cached data ?

You need to go into applications and then clear the cache from the apps.

Have a look at your browser apps, youtube first.

If you get enough space on for an app then install ccleaner and then you can run this every fews days or so and you tick a few boxes in that and then it will clear everything for you

Get Apps2SD it will move some apps not all to your micro sd card freeing up some space on your internal memory

Also delete your logcat file. This can grow to quite a size.
