got a new Samsung s6 n for the life of me i cant stop screens popping up when I'm making or receiving a call. my ear must be touching something and I don't know what it is.
I keep put people on hold and by the time i come off, I've texted someone, emailed someone, opened up apps and put torch on ! Anybody got one and can give a tip on how to stop it before i try out this gorilla glass with a hammer cheers

Sounds like a problem with the proximity sensor.
the sensor should turn the screen off as you place it to your ear.
Have you got something covering it like a screen protector?
On my s5 the sensor is just right of the call speaker.
You can check if its working by dialing *#0*# and choose sensor then wave your hand in front of it.
If its working the screen will turn green and vibrate as you wave your hand past it.

My old iPhone4 started that caper after Apple ruined it with iOS7. My solution was a new phone lol! Actually no, I bought a phone cover with a window so you can see who's calling without opening it up- and a metallic strip so I could swipe to answer- again without opening the cover.
Worked a treat. THEN I got a new phone lol!

got a new screen protector coming tomorrow or Thursday how do i apply it so it lets it work cheers

The screen protector should be cut out to avoid the proximity sensor

the diagram shows where the sensor is.

If its covered it wont function properly.
Try peeling back your current screen protector and try that test again, if it still fails without the protector covering it then it could be faulty
