Chinese Umi Hammer S and Firestick

Hi folks. Looking for some advice if anyone can help me?

We got our eldest an UMI Hammer S as his first phone at the start of October: really nice Chinese Android phone, tough as old boots by the reviews so we thought it would ideal(you KNOW he's going to drop it!). I have an Amazon Fire Stick and I can cast to it from my Hudl2 buy just hitting cast in the options. Even though the phone is Lollipop 5.1, I can't find an option to cast on it. I thought casting was built into Lollipop?

Am i missing something, or do I have to get some casting software for the phone? Any (free preferably!) recommendations??

Download allcast from play store on the phone and from Amazon on the firestick that's what I use on my phone to chromecast it should work the same.
