rooting and play store now wont work

hi there I have just bought a galaxy s3 i9300 which has been factory reset after having rooting done I have tried to access play store and add my account but it keeps telling me about an unstable connection and wont let me log in any ideas

forgot to metion it also has supersu installed

I use a custom rom and had to download the play store apk so it would work,i just googled it

May as pointed out by others need to reinstall pay but the easy way is to is to wipe cache etc from google play services framework
Here's how;
Go to Settings
Select: Applications.
Select: Running
Select play store. -May be called Google Play or Google Play Store-
Select: Force Close and Clear Cache.
Also another cause is the devices date and time..make sure they are correct..

when it asks me for my google email to set up..... it says about an unstable connection and my phone may not be set up for data services yet I can get on the internet and use other apps just the app store not working

Thats the exact same thing with mine, i reinstalled and its worked ever since ill try find the apk

well everyone in the end had to gain access to the Hosts file and edit in there to get it working thanks fro all your help without it I wouldn't have got there so thank you
