hudl 2 niggles

first let me start off by saying, this is a great tablet for the money. the screen is awesome and so was the price. £10 with a leather case after using double up vouchers.

niggle 1, tesco home page. now apart from rooting it, is there any other way of getting rid of it? its annoying and big and di i say annoying.????

niggle 2, when i switch it off then on maybe a few hours or even days later all (and i mean all) my notifcations ive already seen on facebook and emails pop up. so say ive had six or seven pm conversations with about 6 or 7 messages each conversation thats about 40 odd pops !!!!!!!

any ideas on fixes would be great.

I got one for our eldest from Santa, really like it. I installed Nova Launcher to hide all the Tesco crapware, works a treat. Means that any ota updates won't bork it up if I had rooted

i am off to google just now. do u find the updates from facebook etc is annoyng, especially if u have read them?

found another niggle. that nova launcher works great, however my clock is now runnimng slow!!!! is there a fix or something im missing?

Never noticed the clock running slow, to be honest. The notification thing happens over the hudl, my lappy and my HTC m7: I think it depends on the frequency that the 3 devices are refreshed. Don't use fb messenger too much or check my email too often so it don't really bother me

sorted, took the thing back. it was a fault. swapped it, fixed it. thx tesco. works a treat now.

Good stuff. I really like the Hudl2: had a few cheap tablets in the past but they felt cheap, couldnt justify the price for a Samsung tab or (eek!) iPad. Hudl2 is really good, v fast and a lovely screen. Think I might pick up a second one for meself when I have the funds!

Even better now after update, apps can be moved onto SD card. I !like mine,good bit of kit for the price.

I love my hudl. I can't believe how good it is.
