Galaxy S3, just got one, recommendations (ROM, case, other bit's n bob's)

Just need some case recommendations.
Read does not need a screen protector, true?
ROMs I have eyed up are aranoidAndroid, Omega, MS Team HD 10, Ultima and Foxhound, anybody using these?
Also any other accessories that you feel that are essential, please let me know

I don't use a protector on mine anymore & it's still scratch free.
I just use a basic gel case

I had a cheapo flip case from fleebay, no screen protector, there was not a single scratch anywhere on the phone when I sold it. But the flip case covered the screen so that kept it protected. If I was using a basic gel case I would consider using a screen protector..as good as Gorilla Glass 2 is..it will still scratch if yuo have keys or coins in your pocket with the phone.
Screen protectors are bit of a pain to apply on the S3 the edges of the screen are slightly bevelled making it hard to get a really good fit on the screen protector.
CyanogenMod is also another custom ROM worth looking into.. Great thing about Samsung Phones is the unlocked bootloader easy to flash using ODIN.

I use a tpu case. fairly thin and just enough grip and has just a little bit of a raised edge on the front so a small protection in case it gets dropped face down.

I was looking at the otterbox comuter series case (just looks like a back cover)but it dont look much different to a silicon case. I wanted something that protected front & back. everyone seems to say they are the best.

according to the comments it has an inner gel sleeve and an outer hard plastic shell and comes with a screen protector, lowest score was 4/5 so seems decent enough and gives excellent protection.

I don't use no screen protector on mine and its still not scratched , I don't even bother with a case tried a few and didn't like them ..

@ttony I used to think the same way until my 6day old S3 fell all of 24 inches,and is now the proud owner of crack top too bottom....
