I have just purchased an amiko alien 2+ triple tuner, with vix4e2 image. my problem is I need to insert a cline but have not got a clue I have looked on the forum and everything I read seems like latin. can someone please give line by line idiots guide on how to attain my goal.

figured out how to ftp the box, but where do I go from there?
Your box is a sh4 box so needs Oscam installing and the Cline then need to be converted to Oscam format.
Do you have Oscam installed ?
yes I have installed oscam SH4 from the plugins available on the box
Have you prepared the config files ?

do you mean converted from cccam to Oscam, if so I think thats what ive done but what do i do with it now.

The oscam.conf, oscam.user and oscam.server need ftping to /etc/tuxbox/config/
Make sure oscam is running and reboot after transfer.

I have tried the conversion from my old openbox cccam.cfg to oscam but all i get is oscam server nothing else, wher am I going wrong.
In the program click save oscam.user and save oscam.server

OK oscam user file for you

hi tried all that still no go don't know whats wrong?
Hi sorted mine thanks to ferret, Have you actvated oscam in the soft cam manager menu, thats where I was going wrong.
