Hard top say mate what source are you using for the EPG OpenTV or Rytec ?

What ever source your using now try the other one and see if it clears the problem.

If you're referring to what is now & next on some channels then this can sometimes happen as now & next is broadcast with that channel you're viewing. If it's a bit further ahead than what would be now & next then change source as mentioned by ferret.

Also, for satellite, don't use both openTV and rytek xmltv as your source. Just one at a time :)

was using open but have just tried rytec giving it a go now
the problem is the now part of what your both saying
as in for the bill on watch it comes up with of 3 br
like it is taking summaries and putting them on to what is on now
changed but still the same
kindest regards

Did you delete the epg.dat from were ever you store it before trying rytec ?

Also if your not on the images stock skin switch back to stock skin and see if that clear it.

Sounds like the now data stream is displaying that. I doubt it would be a problem with data stream itself tbh.

What version of crossepg are you using?

What channel(s) and i'll check mine as I use opentv?

If it doesn't work deleting epg.dat I would delete the crossepg folder along with epg.dat which are stored wherever you have selected to save epg.dat.

tried the first one no good not sure what stock skin is think it is spark but not sure if i want to go that way and have to figure out what plugins i need to install to get it back to the way it is now tbh

Forgot to mention sometimes it's best to put box to sleep by telnet command "init 4" and then deleting epg.dat and crossepg folder wherever you have your epg data saved.

Then issue "init 6" from telnet again to reboot box.

no go on that one but thanks for the idea

Are you using crossepg 0.8.1?

What channels is this happening on and what frequency and can double-check it's not a stream issue (doubtful like I said).

If not i'm sure you can turn off now/next epg data stream but I wouldn't recommend it as that will always show last minute changes that may not be epg.

I would try and remove plugin delete crossepg folder/epg.dat and restart box and add crossepg again (assuming it's available from your plugin feeds).

personally prefer xmltv importer works far better than crossepg handy for those that get crossepg problems
