I fancy the EVO NOVA COMBO HD which is a dual satellite and cable tuner, however for cable it says it a hybrid tuner, what the difference with a normal cable tuner and a hybrid one

Hybrid wil usually do 2 or more formats. For example C/T/T2 so it could be configured for cable or terrestrial

ok got it .. just like the H2H boxes - thought they may be different to what you get with the H2H box but obviously the same.

i just looked online and see it@s £100 if correct i would get the edison combo myself

It's essentially the same from the same OEM manufacturer but comes with re-designed case, SD card slot, power switch and 2 year hardware warranty - Otherwise the same operation and the same firmware can be used between each other though will require the folders being renamed/moved a little.

EVO NOVA Twin = 2 x DVB-S/S2 tuners (as per H.2S)
EVO NOVA Combo = 1 x DVB-S/S2 + 1 x DVB-T/T2/C Hybrid tuner (as per H.2H)

Can I mount a HDD internally rather than an USB one, I purchased a couple of Unibox from your store and been happy as I can mount HDD internally - The Unibox is great as no need to open up the box, as can slot in hard drive from back.

There is no option for internal HDD BUT there is the option for Micro SD card slot, I've tried and tested this with cheap to expensive Micro SD cards from 256MB to 256GB and had them working very well for all the usual things you'd want storage for (recording, timeshift, EPG data etc.)... You've also got 2 x USB ports spare for other devices, Wi-Fi, USB storage etc.
