I have one on cable m8 very good box I got one off ebay

Had one of these for nearly a month and have to say it`s a great little box and so much better than an f3/f5 as i think picture quality is better and the remote works perfect, no lag.
Zgemma 2s arrived with OpenATV installed but have now flashed with OpenVIX, first time it took a while to get used to but have now reflashed and setup a lot quicker once you get into it, i had never used ftp software before but have learned a lot over the first couple of days, but easy once you get into it and no doubt there`s plenty of more experienced users here to provide lots of help

Just bought a 2s and put open vix on. had problems with epg (cross epg) could not get opentv providers to work at all. Ended up using xmltv importer and rytec and also installed epg refresh. Put Rats channel list on and put the picons on. set up with the army skin. Put an ext hdd and usb pen drive for epg. records no probs and allows to record a pay channel and watch a pay channel at same time. ( Had read this was not poss on open vix) Looks just like my non clone solo but so far it blows that out of the water. Very nice box for the money. :)

The images have nothing to do with watch and record using certain methods its all down to your softcam and how its setup, neat little box but i prefer official OpenATV compared to a patched XP1000 version of Vix

Yes I might put that back on. I binned it due to epg problems but got the same issues on the vix image. So maybe using the set up I have on vix on the opentv box might be the soloution. Are these boxes clones of anything? Or is it just the vix team bad mouthing them due to their price?

I dont get into the so called Vix waging war type scenarios i base an opinion on actually using the receiver which in this case for the price point its not a bad little receiver and works fine, Its officialy supported by OpenATV , OpenDroid and Italysat image teams so cant be all bad. perhaps the Vix boys should actually test one before passing judgement.

Hello guys.

I also have this box with openatv image. I have set up everything except the epg. The epg will start downloading and got stuck at a point and have to reboot box.

Can somebody be kind enough to guide me how to setup the epg.

Thanks in advance.

Very similar if not clones of the Miracle box range from what i gather.

Having official support from some groups is great. These boxes come from the same group as the Cloud Ibox 3 manufactures Airsoft or Airsat i think is the company. And again very similar to the ibox3 with all the cable tuner issues ironed out.

I am thinking of purchasing this box.
What price should I be aiming to spend?

This one on ebay is for £76

I had a bad experience with mobi shop..I brought a cloud ibox 2+se when i got it it had no remote so i emailed them but no reply so i used another remote i had to set it up but then found that the front power and channel buttons did not work plus kept getting a mild electric shock from the box so emailed them and used their site contact form but nothing..
only when i started a paypal dispute did i hear from them.. and after them moaning at me and me asking for a replacement they was not interested and said they would refund once i returned box although all i wanted a working box..they then deleted my account and blocked me from their site..Goes to show even after buying a few boxes from them and recommending them they are all the same just want your money and whistle in the wind for anything else..

That ain't good. Have to say 3 boxes and android box & all perfect and here next day

same here the service was great until you have a problem...

Interesting boxes the styling and design looks nasty though. Looks like Air Digital (manufactures of cloub ibox clones) finally went legit and produced an official box.
I might get one of these to have a play with, full E2 official support twin tuner for 75 quid, fantastic value for money.
Shame the PVR support is only external i.e: no internal drive caddy. To anyone who has got one of these a couple of questions:

- Whats the speed like ? Is there noticable lag when downloading EPG, or navigating menus etc.
- Whats the heat generation like ? These are fanless boxes.
- Any issues with the Power Supply and powering external USB drives directly from the box ?

The other version the H (combo satellite and cable), is even more intresting, especially if it works properly. i.e: use a softcam to watch a channel on provider, use a different softcam to record a channel from the other provider on the other tuner.

As far as VIX images go, I would avoid, there is nothing special about their images anyway. Stick to the officially supported images OpenATV etc,

I have done a few of the H1 for customers but basically kept it simple as in a couple of skins and EPG download and 2-3 cams nothing else and they run fine, but dont expect miracles its a single core 750mhz certainly way faster than the DM800se has more nandflash 256mb and more ram 512mb.

Heat is not an issue as the PSU as with any small receivers these days is external to keep heat to a minimum, I agree though the aesthetics is piss poor and it looks cheap but then again what do you expect its from a china manufacturer. The cable tuner is a Bonus its very sensitive and i have yet to see it struggle with any frequency's.

If TM pull there finger out and get this Nano-SE combo released i may just have bought my last Zgemma

They run faster than a DM800SE ? Thats not bad at all then 800SE's are not sluggish (the older Dm800HD was). As far as TM go a lot of is going to depend on the price point they offer the Nano-SE combo at, it will probbaly at least 50 quid more expensive than the zGemma but is supposed to have a dual core processor on board and UK warranty support.

The current Nano-SE is a butt ugly box though, no front display either.

Anyone know how long the power cable is - as my tv is wall mounted and so will the box be when it arrives, just wanna make sure the power brick has enough length as the plug is at the bottom of the wall? thanks in advanced
