Yep, You Tube works fine.

Don't forget that there is hidden mucky channels as well....

Go to online service
Type 3641 - this toggles the list of jazz channels on and off LOL

Can you do a factory reset and update firm ware then try the new update just a thought m8

flash it on to the blade via serial cable mate.i once had a blade do this to me
wouldn't flash from usb no matter what i done the only way it would take update was via null modem cable
flashed once with usb and then wouldnt again strange

ive flashed the box with the stb tool and serial cable...

i used the fw posted here but cant get the 9991 option?

ive factory reset three times but still no joy?

i flashed the fw back to the jan version, that was on it and working ok.. but that also has lost the 9991 option?

im now at a loss?? the box works but no 9991 option??

any ideas anyone??

i could not enter the 9991 option after 5 mins so i went back to the stable version 25 4 11 thanks. ... version with 9991 option within the Blade Media Satellite.

tried BM7000s Jan 5 2012 81x.stb with all manner of factory resets etc..

tried BM7000s Mar 14 2012 83x.stb with all manner of factory resets etc..

cant find the one dated 25 04 11 to be honest.. ive done a google and i can only find discussions on it?

im now, as i type, flashing the standard BM7000s-05-01-12-81.stb from the BM website... ill then try the patched firmware over that :/

none of these firmwares will flash via usb anymore... only serial. not sure if there is something wrong with the box now??

ive done it... what a fookin' pain!!

flased the standard BM7000s-05-01-12-81.stb via serial
factory reset twice via remote menu and not the 'hold menu button while power on'
formatted my usb stick
transfered the latest patched firmware to the usb stick and flashed via the remote menu (wouldnt work before??)
factory reset via remote menu
9991 now works with lastest firmware..

I've taken the plunge and bought a BM7000S which is due to arrive today. Before I bugger it from day 1, what advice do you suggest Re: fw and image flashes?
Ratts has given me a link to the guides, which I've printed off... but what fw is "safest"?

just loaded the new firmware on .... works great
but how do i input the type in 3641 in online services.... just in case i a wana av a look..... : )
