sky go on fire tv stick

I dont like kodi, quality is poor and requires too much updating.I have sky uk, i would like to install sky go on a amazon firestick. I have seen it working before on 3 peoples firesticks, so i know it can be done. just wondering if any DW members have done this ?

I just goggled "fire stick sky go"

second hit down was amazons site with sky go as free download.

stopped working for me a while ago never did get it working again

worked on older firmware also did sky not start blocking hdmi connection

ok tried it again & still get sky go is not currently supported on this device

I have what i think..an old sky go apk file.Back when it did work with the firestick. Providing that i never updated that apk file,could i install and view sky go or would i get caught out when i have to register that device ? also, can i use an official nbc log in with kodi ? and not get the constant 3pm problems like eveybody else because i dont use a shared log in ?

think best skygo version was 4.1.3 on old firmware on stick for me useless now tried good few versions
even skygo launcher within kodi fails me as well gave up on it
