1tb external hdd

or hows about this very pretty seagate, and suprisingly for an external is 7200rpm, only 41.99 from Scan's today only page (near the bottom).

FREE delivery if you are an AVForums member, or live just down the road from the place like me :)

I've used Scan a few times good shop and decent delivery terms. Even qued outside on a weekend when they are busy.

But as for the Seagate I wouldn't get another.

I have 2 Seagate external drives, 1 x 500gb and 1 x 1tb both with 3 year warranties.

The 500gb one has had 2 replacements and the 1tb is on it's third replacement, and they are both under 2 years old.

£46 for a 2tb Western Digital external hard drive is a bargain.

I've just filled one of these up with PS3 games for a m8. Damn good drive, never gets warm and neither does the power supply even after being on for a week.

Read/write speed seems fast and the PS3 has no problems with it.

You would probably be better getting that WD drive from amazon@£45.49, and it's from amazon not a marketplace seller, free delivery.

I have not heard good things about pixmania over on HUKD and amazon seem pretty decent it returns and what not.

I've used pixmania for lots of items, delivery is not the fastest on the standard rate, but i've never had any problems.

That one at amazon is only 1tb the one at pixmania for the same price is 2tb.
This is the 2tb amazon equivalent and it's £61.94
