just about to get my drive done and was wanting to know if there is a cheaper alternative to verbatim as they are a bit pricey at the moment

This question turns up atleast once a week! :)

Try Aones mate, dirt cheap and a lot of us have had great results.

My experience is verbs are the only truelly reliable ones. I've an Hitachi and aones are hit and miss, mainly from those that read from the disk a lot.

Mind, you could buy a lot of aones for a pack of verbs but then again, i found if a certain game fails on one aone you can burn it a 100 times, it'll will always give the same prob

i was on ebay but they only seem to have plus discs is there anywhere anyone can recomend for - ones

I got the printable bulpaqs from svp for £8 for 25. All worked fine.

They must be +R as well.

My opinion, Verbs.

if it burns it should handle it, i think what you need to no is what speed to burn them at as i dont no. i no dvds should be burnt at x4.

is there any way to tell if my dvd writer will handle burning 360 games

Yeh if its a DL burner just try and burn a file over 4.7 GB you will sharp find out oh but then youd need a DL media disk

Im sure youd know if it was a DL burner ? if your computer is not a new model and you havent replaced the drive Id say no no

some might work better than others but as long is it burns dl it will work. ND-3650A works fine for me
