hi guys im supposed to be on 50 meg with vm..my speed test just done shows

http://www.speedtest.net/result/3727305279.png

its always like this , whats wrong?..done malware spyware scans nothing found..reset rebooted tp link wirless router, using vm superhub 1 in modem mode only but same speeds...any ideas what it could be.?

Try your speedtest again with wired connection from pc to hub, this will confirm/rule out wifi issues. I did read on another thread that frequent re-booting of the modem can slow down fibre connections (is it fibre?) as the exchange thinks there's a problem at 'full speed' thus throttles it down a bit.

Check your superhub m8 there is 3 option for speed 54,150 and 300, for best range choice 150 but max you will get is 30mb download. Only way you will get full speed is hard wired to modem.

will try those suggestions, i only use superhub in modem mode, i use my own tp link wireless router as it has a better range....rang virgin they coudnt see any issues down there end,

try using the superhub m8 wont tale long to switch things over, I have the superhub 2 and had no issue with it at all supports 5ghz and 2.4 ghz and the lower 54 ghz

i had problems last week after getting it set up in the new house the 100mg was slower then the 60mg I had befor but all seems ok at the moment and I like the superhub 2 but still think the tandy I had is beter wifi

well i went back to the superhub, it was really pathetic, downsatirs i could just about get a signal, painfully slow, reset everything router , superhub, network plugs evrything and its still very slow..at this time i assume its traffic shaping going on....ive gone back to modem mode and my own tp link, changed wifi channels etc to stop interference from other networks but still the same very slow net..

Sounds like you need an engineer out something has to be wrong

maybe its your isp which cheating on you not providing full speed?!

I also had problems with my virgin during this period rang them and they did something at their end to change setting on my superhub which didn't help my wireless at the time but it is better now
