Hi guys I've got a solo 2 which had a problem with turning it on,nothing to do with being bricked so had to return it to the company I bought it off of on alibaba.they told me to take the board out and send just that back to save on costs of postage so that's what I did.when they fixed it and returned it to me i unpacked it and fixed it back into the case, hooked it back up to the tv went to switch it on at the back and couldn't believe id missed it when putting the board back in but they'd only gone and forgot to put the power switch back on my board :-(
so I can't turn the damn thing on.I have messaged them and they are saying they won't send me my power switch back out,I said it was there fault and asked them to explain why they won't send it out and explain there selves and they have stopped messaging me all together so don't know what to do.
anyone know where I can get a power switch from or any ideas on what to do.

Hi mate i can only suggest maplins,as its only 12v and spade connections you will be able to get something there and make it work.may not fit or be correct but at least it will switch on..
another way is to just hot wire it direct and turn on and off at mains.

Thats the one.perfect will most likely fit right in..plus its up to 10 amps and solo 2 PSU is only 3amps..

Thanks mate will have a stab at that one then, only question I have with the switch from maples is it has three pins and I'm sure the solo one only has two,not good with electricals any ideas?

you get them from maplin as well.they will be single ones you crimp to cable.

Thanks guys, another thing why does the switch like the ones I've found in the link have three pins Rectangular 12V Rocker Switch Illuminated Red | Maplin

You'll have to look at the specs of the switch for terminals but that looks like "single pole double throw" (SPDT).

When flicked, the switch disconnects one of those contacts and connects to the other. Having one as common.

Summink like that :).
