Please be advised that the following Vu+ drivers have been posted by Vu+ but are for newer linux kernels and are not compatible with any currently available image, If you use any of these drivers with any current image your receiver will not boot.

please be patient and wait for the various Image teams to release their own updated images with the appropriate linux kernels.

The drivers in question are named as such.

vuplus-dvb-modules-bm750-3.9.6-20140715.tar.gz
vuplus-dvb-modules-vuduo2-3.13.5-20140715.tar.gz
vuplus-dvb-modules-vuultimo-3.9.6-20140715.tar.gz
vuplus-dvb-modules-vusolose-3.13.5-20140715.tar.gz
vuplus-dvb-modules-vusolo2-3.13.5-20140715.tar.gz

This is intended as nothing more than a friendly advisory post, take it however you like but dont complain or create conspiracy theory's if you use them and your receiver does not boot.

Hope the new images for this will released soon!I want to see it on my Duo2 ;-)

Thanx again Pheonix!

Sorry I cant give any comment on the kernel or drivers due to a NDA, I just posted this as the drivers were posted on the official Vu+ download site (likely in error) but as they are now on dozens of forums, I believed it only prudent that users know not to try them as they are for a different kernel version than what is publicly available.

Wonder what new anti clone goodies these drivers might contain then ...

No Idea, nor do I want to know (before omni and his tin hat wearing brigade try to start up any more false claims that I do).

I think the tin when stopping the signals was causing vibrations so he's moved onto using one made out of lead? :)

Ok my Chinese couldnt say mutch about it...Because the drivers are suddunly out of the blue showing up...This could be a accident by VU or they are putted on purpose to fool the Chinese ... I mean maybe they wanted to Chinese to work on these drivers and the actual drivers going to be totally different..

Sorry Pheonix mate i dont owne a tinnen hat and i am not a member of a gang;-) but thats what my Chinese said...

Anyway i think with the new drivers and forthcoming kernel, exciting things are going to happen...for Clones and genuine boxes..

Well I can assure you the Chinese are talking out of their backsides with regard to these drivers, and kernels.

These have been in development for over 6 months and way before the so called "time bomb incident", We just could not talk about the kernels due to a NDA and before people start again, we have no knowelege of what is contained within the drivers or kernels to counteract clones or any thing else for that matter, and we have no influence over what gets added to them either.

Vu+ have now submitted them to their public GIT so expect to see new images based on these kernels soon.
