Hi Guys

I had a openbox s9 so moving onto a enigma 2 box for the first time as I've heard great things about these. I want to know is a good idea to invest in one o these genuine boxes as currently we are losing al the HD channels? loking around £250.
thankz

If you are interested in ENIGMA 2 receiver purely fpr UK card share the no, don't bother investing a lot of money in a satellite receiver . Cardshare for Uk Satellite as you know is on the way out with no sign of any fixes so far. If howvever you have a motorised setup and your looking for a hobbyist receiver you can experiment with then enigma 2 receivers are a good shout.
It may well be worth looking at something that has swappable plug and play internal tuners DVB S/C/T . I have seen a fair few UK Cable servers starting to appear maybe it's time to go back to cable :)

Maybe SD will go as well but not for the foreseeable future until all legacy boxes have been upgraded.

6 months, 12 months if we lucky? If I get a gen box for around £150 I might get one

I have a Vu Duo and recently got a VU Solo2, I must say the Solo2 is lightning fast at downloading, rebooting etc compared to the Duo and Gigablue solo. If you decide on a satellite receiver, then you wont go far wrong with a solo2.

As i said..you will be hard pushed to find a genuine solo2 for £150 anywhere...maybe wait a while see if prices come down.

Thanks for your advise. I was also considering buying Solo2, heard so many good things about this box.
