solo se will be on sale in the uk next week and is on sale in Germany now

Yep i have one on its way.not bad i accually got mine for £173.00 form seller in Germany via DHL which is great as no extra to pay.
Im waiting to see what the prices are like here from UK selers..I have seen them on sale/pre order by a UK VU+ seller for £189.00

uk price with sat tuner £189.00 with DVB-C/T/T2 £199.00

yes sat tuner is worth a punt but almost not worth it for DVB-C/T/T2 would make sense to pay a little more and going for solo2.I have seen them now for £230.00 from Germany.

I might invest in one ill see looks good

Yeah if you hang on a couple of days i will post a review when i have ran it for a day or so will maybe give you a better idea..
mind you it is smaller and lighter than solo2 has latest tech and a dual core 1300 mips processor so should go like lightning can not see much wrong with this box..
only the price but i just got to have one...

Looks to be a Cutdown Solo2 running the same BCM chipset but with the added advantage of being able to use Plug & Play Tuner's, so more of a direct replacement for the Vu Uno just a shame that they did not think about the design more clearly as it would have accepted the Dual DVB-S2 tuner. Perhaps Vu are working on a revised version that will slot in nicely

I agree I guess they did not want it to have dual tuner function due to it clashing with solo2..
maybe as you say they may bring out a plug-able twin tuner..

will u flash it as same as the solo ps do u get a 2 year garente when u buy from Germany is this right could some boday tell me if this is right regards simon

Get mine tomorrow hopefully.i would imagine you will get a years rtb warranty same as in any EU country plus the VU+ warranty what ever that amounts too.
Before you buy if it's not noted in any part of description then just ask seller.

another missed chance to kill the clone market missed by VU... personally its pretty stripped down and should be on sale for £119 imo to kill the clones off, regards mdt

You over priced it by £20 LOL should be £99 its a single tuner FFS

Would not make a bit of difference if VU could profit at £119 the cloners would still profit at a lot lower price.

Re: hands on the new vu+solo se

I like the look of it

Re: hands on the new vu+solo se

Might be less stuff to run, like no display

Re: hands on the new vu+solo se

Surprised its faster mate given same cpu and chipset.

Have fun with it.

Yep weird but it is really quicker.. maybe as casuk says its only single tuner no display etc..
A bit sad at the mo as there is no decent image and the factory VU+ image wont let me install anything like cams etc and nowt in feeds.
tried installing some plugins but it wont let me...need to keep at it see what im doing wrong.

Re: hands on the new vu+solo se

Just curios about the plug and play tuners, can we install a dual tuner to the box like the vu+ uno ??
