tuner fail issue twin tuner

i think elmoemo had similar issue last night

had no issue with vu+ original today i have football recording on sly sports4 nothing else recording. football is using tunerA (tunerA is in white) now if i record 1 channel and try to go onto another channel i get tuner failed and on the channels i cant access it using tuner (in white) AB(orange) which to means assumes its not using a tuner and not using tuner B.

both tuners setup in tuner setup nothings been changed..


any suggestions?

ok so pulled one of the cables out the back and nothing.. (assume that was tuner a i disconnected?) as nothing on B

anyway i swapped the cables around and now it seems to be ok and tuner b now kicked in... v odd?

I had an issue with my clone earlier regarding the tuner.
I turned it on and no channels at all not even FTA.
I checked tuner settings and they had changed but i just ended up putting a backup image on from a couple of weeks ago and all back to normal. Very strange indeed as I know no one else has touched it to make any changes

tried turning tunera off (that was working one) but picture was still coming in from tuner a (odd) turned both to off and got nothing so put them both back on.. then pulled one cable from the box got no picture so assume one input wasnt working, swapped cables around nothing, then put 2nd one back in (so now cables were switched ) and both now working

really odd will try switching them back again later see if it replicates the fault

be interested to know if anyone else has had tuner issues tonight? Both weird things that has happened to both of us tonight with the tuners.
Can't for the life of me understand why much like yourself lol.
