hi guys

been using Vix 1.3 since ive owned my Duo+ and i fancy giving BlackHole Vu+ Duo v. 1.4.4 ago now to compare.

ive got Vix setup exactly how i want it, picons, epg etc

i take it id have to setup all these again after i install BlackHole Vu+ Duo v. 1.4.4?

or is there an easier migration?

there must be a backup image option somewhere ?

on the thm800 its via MiniWeb, I have no idea about Duo sorry mate

but im sure there must be a way

you can backup your existing setup so that you can return to it if needed, but when ever you load a new image into flash you have to set it up as new, its the same with all receivers.

except where your using a multiboot system as it can be set to load the same settings as the master image in the flash memory.

You can migrate some setting to new image (most important i guess would be channel list (favorites ,tuner setup etc)
DreamBoxEdit 4.0.1.2
will help
- as for the picons they would stay untouched , as far as they at HDD or usb stick folder (if u keeping them at STB flash memory , You'll loose them )
