tomtom sends smoke signals

hello ppl ... i / my friend got a prob his go/300 powre lead came loose from back the other day so he pushed it back in and ended up forcing at a slight angle ,,,,, wich ended up in smoke and a dead tomtom ?? anyone any ideas on a fix for this or any ides what will have gone pooff with diograms ect ...thank's in advance ....
