stuck with softmod issue

Firstly this was modified wii with first gen mod and i never updated when there were issues with newer games i just softmodded.
the softmod was causing 002 errors.
i have updated using modmii and all went well but now i get error 001 unauthorised device.
Can i cut mod chip wires and remove or is there another way to resolve this.
i am on version 4.1 e now and neogamma latest.
i did a m8's same way and working fine.
any help appreciated

Hi mate.

When you getting the error? Is it from the Normal Disk channel or when you load from neogamma channel?

Also have you had any games load after you softmodded.

You should not have to mess about with the chip so i would leave alone for now.

i cant get any games working since it went to 4.1.
i was softmodded and working fine and followed the modmii recommendation.
i am in process of trying to get usb loader working.
errors in all channels i try

Have you installed darkcorp 1.1 since you have used modmii???
If not i would download that and reinstall it now.

Select the second option update or summat like that

thanks for help moamb .i installed but still getting error on main loader and neogamma.
i used a 14 gig memory stick and got the 3 games working on that but not on disk.
i also swapped from -r to +r disk no joy
Any ideas?

I would start the soft mod again from the start (no need to reload Homebrew of course roud: )

Maybe not use modmii and follow the one on here???

In Scotland m8.
The usb loader is working fine .
Also older games working.
The original just dance which wouldnt work now works in neogama boot.
I am just going to get hard dive and put all the games on that
