i have a laptop that has (had) windows 7 pre installed, with the key on the bottom of the laptop. i factory reset it, which took HOURSSSSSSSS, and when it restarted, it simply doesnt come on any longer.

booting into the windows option to reinstall simply restarts the laptop, and its now dead, stuck in this loop

whats the best way to install windows back onto it? i no longer have access to a writer to burn an iso onto disk, so ideally, something from usb

i know i could install ubuntu onto it, but am looking to get it setup to sell on, and most people want windows

ive tried that link, it tells me that the key is for a pre installed version and to contact the manufacturer

windows is on the laptop, in some shape, as it says preparing to start etc, then it says failed to start, and will reinstall after restarting, and stuck in that loop

ive tried all of the different ways to get into a reinstall menu, but no luck

I would suggest you download Heidoc. That will allow you to download genuine copies of windows.
