Recover dat on 1tb seagate Drive?

Hi All
Could anyone advise if its possible to recover my Seagate 1tb USB backup hard drive. I stupidly left it connected and was trying to create a system recovery usb stick unfortunately it created it on my main drive which means or appears to mean I've lost all my previous data. There doesn't seem to be anything accessible on the drive which had various pic's music etc. I'm using windows 10, 32 bit version. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Best get a good Data recovery software , try looking for one on a torrent so you can get it for fee

Don't write anything ells onto the drive as this will make it harder to recover your lost data

You can do it with getdataback, but you're going to need a 2TB drive to recover it. The data should still be there, but the pointers are wiped.

Diskdigger works well and will preserve file names on any undamaged files, but as janobi says you will need another large drive to transfer the files too, and a day or two to tranfer it.
