When setting up Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft not only installs the operating system alone, but also a whole range of additional apps – some useful, some less so. O&O AppBuster allows you to remove the unwanted apps easily and quickly. Or, if you accidentally uninstalled one of these apps, you can also retrieve them with one click.
Over a clear and concise interface, O&O AppBuster shows you which of these Microsoft-supplied apps with Windows are installed on your computer and which you can install on request – even hidden apps are displayed here.
O&O AppBuster is a small, portable utility designed to give you more control over the software installed on your PC. It shows you all the apps that were bundled with Windows 10& Windows 11 , as well as those that were installed later from the Store, and allows you to remove any of them effortlessly, even the hidden ones.
Easily uninstall built-in Windows 10 & Windows 11 apps
Many of the applications Microsoft bundles with the OS cannot be removed via the usual means. To get rid of them, you normally have to use various PowerShell commands, which is not something most users want to try.
O&O AppBuster makes the process a lot simpler. When it is launched, it detects all apps that were bundled with the OS and those installed from the Microsoft Store. To remove them, all you need to do is select one or more of them and click Uninstall. After confirming the action, the apps will be deleted.
The program allows you to remove most apps, but some simply cannot be uninstalled as they are critical to the OS. These are not shown by default, but you can reveal them if you want to see everything that is installed on your PC.
Reinstall apps and create restore points
If you’ve removed an important application by accident, you can usually restore it with this program. If you can find it in the list and it is marked as “Available”, you will be able to reinstall it.
Before removing a bunch of apps, it may be a good idea to create a restore point as well. While most applications can be reinstalled easily, it helps to have a backup if something goes wrong. A restore point can be created directly from the utility via the Actions menu.
Portable and highly intuitive
If you’re trying to clean up your PC, installing yet another application just to get rid of others seems counter-intuitive. Thankfully, this is a portable utility that doesn't require installation and doesn't leave any traces behind.
