No signal new house

My lads just moved house but as soon as you enter his you lose signal or you get one bar till you shuffle around and try and hit a sweet spot.

Were both on Vodafone but his m8 who's on EE gets the same issue. If you go out the front door it's fine, his living rooms like Hitler's Bunker lead lined.

Is there anything they can do bar try the other two providers or say a signal booster or anything, aerial or something?. He prefers Vodafone simply because around here Vodafone is normally brilliant.

The house is an older mid terrace

Virgin installed their activating it tonight all set to go. Well I suppose that's his best option then. It must be the building especially if both Vodafone and EE both don't work
