The Crescent Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, about 5000 light years away. It was discovered by Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel in 1792.
Took this last week,30 X 1 minute subs,no darks,bias shots etc,got my friend to process it through CS5,very pleased with it,needs more data and shall return to this later on in the year
