New Camera

Hi my girlfriend is talking about getting a new camera, i'm not that clued up but there seems to be loads of people on here who know what they are talking about. She was looking at the Nikon j1, it looks cracker and pretty much point and click. Jessops are doing £50 cash back to, whats your thoughts on it or can you recomend an alternative that is as simple as the nikon

No idea to be honest, there does seem to be loads extra features, its main use will be in Dec when we go to new york then parties, away days and so on

me mam just got herself one of these Canon PowerShot SX220 HS - Digital Compact Camera - Canon UK
cracking cam does what you want motion capture ect

i like this one has the fetures near a bridge cam but in a compact. im waiting for the price to drop a bit though.

well eventually got round to buying a camera, ended up with the canon sx240 http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0074K1J...de=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B0074K1JUE got it for £180 from comet with an 8Gb card. Happy with that price and the reviews seem cracking

Getting back into slr cameras, just bought a nikon d3200 with18/55 auto lens good fun
