iPod Nano Not Recognised

My lad's ipod nano v3 doesnt seem to sync anymore with iTunes. Running the diagnostics, it could not find the nano.

I had to end up removing install, clearing out old files with windows installer cleanup then download itunes and reinstall. Now it finds the nano.

What a pain, I hope this is not a feature of iTunes/Nano.

Anyone else get this problem?

It can sometimes happen if you plug into a usb hub rather than directly into a usb socket.

Oh thanks. I never knew that. The lad uses the usb hub. I installed the 5 port pci extension, though why would be internal I have no idea. So 4 extra ports, plus the 2 that came free with the mobo, so should be able to use without the hub.

Im gonna order another cable from dealextreme, one for the wall charger then he is sorted!
