mp6 & win2000

has anyone had the same prob as i'm having.<br />trying to prog gold card with elvis and kev 1.6 using mp6. had no probs previously prog my pcb wafer but now that doesn't even work. when i auto detect it says no standard pic smartcard found. only difference is i have updated to win2000<br />cheers for any help in advance.

try skipping autodetect and just goto programme card. <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

cheers gazzaman tried that but still no joy it now replies access violation at address (few numbers)<br />i'll still try a few other things but if anybody else got any ideas please help. <br />just put mkf on and it works ok so its not the proggy.

mp6 should with win 2k dry and reload it u sometimes have probs getting to the com port with some software there is a prog on wolvies site called portmon this sorts that out also try mp7 beta from <a href="http://adteknik.se/software/mp7_beta.zip" target="_blank">http://adteknik.se/software/mp7_beta.zip</a><br />it works ok on 2k pro

try the propertys scroll and make sure its set too d7c3 or try project and select a programmer and when the window comes up it should say com1 before you tick vthe green tick <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

mp6 and 200 working fine with goldies have had a similar problem with a couple of cheap goldies but else all okay.

jerboa no windows program will work with that card m8, ihave had 2 like that, you will have to use dosprog, make a boot disk,put dosprog and ur hex files on it, once u have programed with dosprog, u will find it will work with windows programs again.
