So i've got an imac here, and i've wiped the hdd. But I cannot get the OS to install via recovery, I can't even do it via the internet way.
So i've had a google, and found the following;
Now this is perfect, but I have a problem. Because I have the new macbook pro with apple silicon, I cannot install any of the versions of OS as they're not compatiable with the mac. (I don't actually want to install the OS, but you have to have it in application folder to create the bootable usb).
So my question is, does anyone know of another way to create the USB, or, does anyone have a bootable USB for Mac that I could borrow and return. Appreciate the 2nd option is a longer shot
