help with interferance when playing dvd

when im playing a dvd on my targa dvd player thru my 42" philips LCD, i get some nasty noise interference when there is a bright colour on the screen (its always when there is a very white scene) its a buzzing noise. when its a darker part of the film its fine....

its connected by the scart socket BTW

any help appreciated

• Have you tried another scart?
• Or tried RGB setting on the DVD player itself?
• Does the DVD player have any other output apart from scart? (component)

i'd go with a heavy shielded scart. Don't buy cheap but you don't have to buy really expensice either. Definately set RGB output on dvd player. Also check in the manual for your tv that all scart inputs are full RGB support.

As Dazmeister said look for component output RED GREEN BLUE RCA (phono) Connectors
