Evening all, I have a few questions regarding the satellite arc and help finding the satellites etc.

I have a motorised TM2600 setup with a TD88 dish.
I have written down a list of what I can a can not receive and just would like a little bit of advice on how / if I can pick up any of the missing satellites with my dish from the list below.

I have checked the pole and it is plum all the way around, So I was just wondering why I was missing the satellites.
Do I need to go back to Thor and try and get a higher Quality on it and go from there? By changing the angle of the dish?
It is strange that after the freesat Satellite on Astra 28.2 E I cannot get anything yet I pick some channels up on the west etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am enjoying this little challenge and this is my first motorised setup. So happy that I am picking up something at the moment.

The list is as follows :-

58 W Intelsat 9/KU – Receiving nothing.
45 W Intelsat 1R/C – Receiving nothing
43 W Intelsat 6B/3 - Receiving nothing

If you have got to the bottom of the list thank you for being patient I thought if I put up all the information I could think of then it would help somebody who has more knowledge than me to suggest a possible solution.
Thanks for any advice given.

you should be able to get the following sats easily if no obstructions are in the way.30W,15W,5W,1W,5E,13E,16E,19.2E,23.5E,28.2E,39E,42E.unless you are after everything I would not bother with any of the others. Its unlikely you get any thing past 30W or 42E.It sounds like you are not tracking the arc,If your pole is 100% plumb check the dish is dead central on the motor shaft and that your correct location latitude is set on both the motor and in the stb then as you say it wants setting up on 1W.using the usals bit try this guide it may help.

Thanks for the advice great help with the satellite info on what I can recieve etc.

I am using a Techomate 5400 super at the moment. Once everything has been setup i will be looking at getting a linux box and then using the 5400 as a client if that is possible for spare bedroom.
