Think with the Diesel and Petrol prices as they are "HIGH" even though there are no longer any shortages or driver problems they have got increased duty by default.

No need for a tracker that is just spying on you, your MOT status in the UK keeps a track of your mileage. They will say what if you sell your car etc blah blah.

Something has to pay for Covid eh ? So hit the motorist going to work.

Well the problem is that when we move to electric cars then the government is losing massive amounts of income, on car tax and fuel tax. Remember we pay some of the highest duties on petrol/diesel in the world, and this all goes to the government for them to have lockdown parties and stuff.

So naturally they've got to get their money somewhere. This is why they'll never ban tobacco, as they simply make too much money from it being allowed to be sold. Same with gambling, and various other scams that the government run.
