Evening all,

Got myself one of these to play around with. Quite impressed for the price (40+) All the porn seems to work well lol, found several Scy Sports streams but the quality is low definition (ok for free i suppose) Waiting till next saturday to check out the 3pm kickoffs :)
Been frying my head checking out all the movie servers. Some very good qual, others low def. I can't get 3 of the highly recommended ones to work, 1Channel, Tube Plus and Z-Movies. I'm fairly sure that Virjin have blocked the URLs, so i was wondering if there was a workaround via a proxy server?

Hia mate, I've checked out movies25 (MoviesHD, Yiffy Movies HD, Ice Films and Navi-X are also quite good) Where did you get Showbox app from? :)

I've got Sports Devil and i have added p2p streams. I assume they somehow work in conjunction with each other? Do i need to do some configurations?

You can Google showbox. If you install the p2p it will download sopcast & acestream which you then install from the download folder. Acestream needs to be started before going to sportsdevil to watch streams

Forgive my ignorance but how do i start Acestream? When i open the addon i get these options:

-Addon Website-parsers
-Addon xml lists
-Addon Favourites


AceStream : Play Acestream hash / Torrent URL
AceStream : Load local .torrent file
SopCast : Play SopCast ID
SopCast : Play SopCast URL

Advanced tools menu

Acestream is in the app drawer. Just click it it'll show a few messages then say starting,just come out of it open xbmc go to sportsdevil then find a stream to watch.

The app draw is where you can open apps once installed, looks like 6 or 9 spuares in a pattern might be inside a circle. Sorry can't explain any better I'm not at home at minute

Apps, as in Android not XBMC? There's nothing in there referring to Acestream?

Thanks for your help, i'll wait till your home if thats ok? :)
 
If you got a file manager look in download folder and see if acestream apk is in there if it is you need to install it

Evening all, can anyone tell me the steaming bitrate for reasonable standard definition? I've had a bit of a play around, I tried a (think it was 3200?), it was a very good pic but the box seemed to sort of crash (don't think it could handle it?) Also, even if it could, i'd probably have a lot of freezing/ glitching etc.

iPlayer and netflix both recommend substained rate of around 2mb for SD and 3mb for HD

According to sky forums, the skygo app looks for these three apps to see if the device is rooted, if you uninstall them then it should work.

Superuser, SuperSU and Cydia Substrates,
