No internet connection via BT home hub 4

Or at lest I don't think i have as not sure how to test for one

I have a Technomate TM800hd and since moving to BT for my ISP I don't seem to be able to connect to the internet from the Technomate (local cable connection to HUB)

Press "LAN" on remote it gives the IP address and says "web interface could not listen on xx.xx.xx.xx:xx

Then it states on Adapter settings to "edit network connection of your linuxbox. Static IP:<!DOCTYPEhtml PUBLIC " -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd" ect.etc.

If I then pess update.......... SW Update - Intergrated Ethernet states "no internet"

On the BT home hub 4

Have set the MAC of the Technomate box to port forward
"Remotely Anywhere udhcp 1.11.3(..."
and
"Web Server (HTTP) udhcp 1.11.3(..."
I am no expert here but it looks like I need to modify a file in my TM800 but not sure which or how

Been to the quoted website and have a .dtd file

hope someone can help

Forgot to add

when I go to "network wizard" box crashes

What are you trying to do?

The images were coded to display your external IP address by going to another site and tracing your IP. That site no longer exists.

There are no more updates for the TM800

Thanks for the reply, well first I'd like to verify that I have an internet connection.

So let us say I wanted to set up a cline access, can I check my connection.
