Hi
What is the furthest east that i am able to move the dish to. ,there is no probs with the dish hitting the wall, i have tried by going to the motor control to alter the limit but am not sure how to do this. The reason for moving the dish east is, i was wondering if it would solve the problem with bad winds with winter approaching moving the dish east would limit dish wobble. ?

Depending on the motor, you can manually adjust the limits. If using a tm motor take of the spigot shaft that holds the dish (leave the dish on if safe to do so) off. It needs a 6mm allen key and a 13mm spanner/socket. Then adjust the limits in the slider with a philips driver (I think?). Then reassemble. If you've left the dish on the shaft then you do not need to realign it.

If your manual limit east has been set on the motor, then nothing you do within the stb settings will make the dish travel any further east. You should be able to get around 80 degree's east.

Thanks for that mate, i have a dark motor but i don't want to disturb the alignment of the dish as its set bang on . I just thought that i would some how have been able to send dish to 80.0e.
Thanks for your help

The limits on the dark motor are normally fully open and need setting in your STB, all the ones that i have come across always go to the extreme ARC east or west

Right mate i have tried sending dish to 80.0e but it wont, it does go to 57.0 as i have something stored in on that one

Are you using USALS or Diseqc 1.2 as the latter should let you move it manually via the STB menu until it reaches its internal limit
