Sly card in TM5402 M2

Is there any way to see active Sly card entitlements on the TM5402? My subscription card has been in my TM box for 2 months and last friday went dead. Stuck it back in my Pace box and waited 48 hours but did not get the new entitlements. Ended up having to ring sky and get the card repaired with the box. All working now but how long have I got before I should put it back in original box.

Also is there a way of receiving the keep alive signal in the TM box??

I dont think the TM closed source receivers can send the EMM needed to update the card might have something to do with them only emulating the cams they use, A linux receiver can with Oscam installed

get yourself a cheap dm500s, install O**** ect and you can then see your entitlement info and it will update in the box when needed,regards mdt

There is one on fleebay Spain for 15 euros at present. I think I will invest just to see entitlements etc. Only really got experience with TM receivers, have read lots about the dreamboxes. Is this thing easy to get your head round??

they can be a little frustrating at first but there are back up images around that are already set up so you just put the card in and away you go,regards mdt
