thought id post it for people to have a look,regards mdt

Lots of extra Hardware/software Functions.

It has all functions of TM-5402-M1-M2 ,Same channel list.

Looks promising- shame they kept the archaic '90's-style case. Let's hope the insides are a bit more 21st century.

insides are straight out of a DR-HD D15 with extra features added... no doubt they will sell by the bucket load as they have kept the TM5402HD name/look as its their most popular/best seller by far,regards mdt
 
is there any patches for it yet im going to buy one tomorrow do use the same patches as the m1 and m2 resevers regards simon

no patch just yet but it wont be long before there are..... id wait a while until the bugs are ironed out as there are always a few with new stb,s regards mdt

Yep! the more i look at the specification of this it is as @mdt stated another D15 or TM's own F3/5 stuck inside a TM5402 shell.

Hold onto to your M1 & M2 version 5402's as you wont get another sensitive receiver like them anymore

AFAIK, different tuner and processor on the D15 from F15 which are basically the F3/5-TM5402HD M3 and TM5402HD M1/M2 in different cases with slight mods. unless someone from the korean factory that makes the DR-HD/TECHNOMATE/CLARKTECH/BLADE stb,s can say otherwise. as usual they are trying to do the same thing for less=more profit margin,regards mdt
 
From what i can gather the F3/5 has not been as Popular as first thought, I can only go off what my local supplier tells me and they said the 5402 M2 version was still out selling TM's latest model.

So if i owned a company and realised my sales not as predicted on the new model i have a word with my Korean manufacturer and say Hey how about we stick the internals of the F3/5 inside the 5402 shell stick a front and rear USB on as well as a single scart and an IR transmitter and re-badge it as the 5402 M3, Hell the UK public wont notice and more than likely think we gave them an upgraded box with better internals and Gui. Great marketing Ploy

I am not saying they have done this but until it comes out and someone has a D15 or F3/5 and takes the lid off and compares who knows.
 
so what u are saying is to stick with the old tecnomate 5402

this is interesting....very cheeky indeed, would be great to hear from tm on that, if yes/no 5402m3 is a f3/5 with 5402 case!

patch is out now...so wont be long until we know
 
ill be buying one of the 5402 m3 at the end of the month ill let u no what there like

iv got my m2 today ill set it up some time this week has ur m3 come then I hate Mondays after the weekend regards simon

You cant go wrong with quality on M2 mate, spec v spiders lol!!!
Don't get my M3 till later in week, but just hoping t works out and that an untested box proves to be ok for me compared to my M2!
 
Received my M3 this morning, first impressions out of the box, looks the same as the M2, plus has front USB as well as rear, IR extender on back as well, feels lighter than the M2, haven't had a chance to set it up yet, so no reports on the picture quality etc. Looks suspiciously like an F3/5 in a 5402HD case.

Do you still need to flash with addon002p after Phantompatch? As you don't need to with the F3/5.

Will report my findings in the next couple of days.
