If PRESS MENU on the remote.
Put in the PIN NO. 0000
Next window opens, click on SYSTEM INFORMATIOM
Press OK
Next window opens, second line down should tell you what SOFT WARE VERSION you have on your receiver.
Then press EXIT / EXIT / to get your picture back.Then go to the DOWN LOAD CENTRE to find any new software for your receiver.

Hi Den thanks for the reply, so i have 156p tried the download centre but no luck yet could you please tell me if a patch for tm5402 would be ok for my tm 5400

You really need to know which specific TM-5400 model you have...

The last/latest patches for these SD models can be found in the 'other' Download Centre...

TM-5000 Non Super section

I don't believe any of these patches have been uploaded to our Technomate Download section...

The 5402 patch won't be any good for your 5400. The stb will likely fail to write the f/w in any case.

With patch 159 on the TM5400 Super you will NOT be able to clear the channels on 39e, I have kept my TM5200D SUPER on patch 156.
