Any lines I`ve had before,started with N:Host Port User Pass 01 02 ## ## ## ## ## ## # # # # # #14
New guy I`m with has just gave me
Host
User
Port
pass.
I tried making a new N:line but it won`t work.
Any tutorials around?
Many thanks

He says I need to move protocol on my box to newcamd.
Above my head.My skills go as far as adding and deleting N lines in Miniweb.

if your using in newcamd.list needs to be CWS = ********.net 12345 User ****** Pass ***** 01 02 ## ## ## ## ## ## # # # # # #14

really mate don't look good if your supplier not helping you sort this out and only giving you instructions to install in openbox or f5
and may be a the file on his server not set up for your box type

I`ve tried all your suggestions to no avail.Contacted him and said I need instructions for my Tm500.He gave me these....
Hi hope this helps
is the more basic sky box, with 2 main options to get your line
working. our guides assume you have either mgcamd or cccam installed.
CCCam
1) using your prefered ftp client connect to your 500's ip address
(192.168. etc etc)
2) navagate to /var/etc/
3) open CCcam.cfg (this file is not always there if not just create a new
file called CCcam.cfg)
4) Paste your line to the file eg: N: hostname port username
password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
5) save the file and exit
6) Enjoy TV :)
MGCAMD
1) using your prefered ftp client connect to your 500's ip address
(192.168. etc etc)
2) navagate to /var/etc/keys
3) open newcamd.list (this maybe named as newcamd.list.example just
rename it)
4) Paste your line to the file eg: CWS = hostname port username
password 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14
5) save the file and exit
6) Restart MGCAMd or your box
7) Enjoy TV .

Tried them and still nowt.He says the details are correct.

Iv`e tried a few free test lines and they work ok,so I`m seeking a refund.

If I make a line starting CWS,what else should be in there?

This is in there

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300

CWS_INCOMING_PORT = 21000
CWS_MULTIPLE = 127.0.0.1 15000:15001 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan newcs

CWS = 127.0.0.1 15000 dummy dummy 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 lan newcs

CWS = host port user pass 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 <<<<<NEW LINE

Nah,nothing.Test C lines work fine in CCcam_2104 but when I switch to Newcamd v6.10b Full,with new login details,it`s scrambled.

Stick it in cccam config.
Forget the cws and insert as n line

N: Host Port User Pass 01 02 ## ## ## ## ## ## # # # # # #14
The red are the des keys
Insert them to what ever they are ie 01 02 03 04 etc

Just paste in cccam.cfg
Start the cam
