I've got my TM500 nearly set up and i'm using cccam 2104 but using
DCC i cant find the config file in the ect/var. I been used to a dm500hd
and thought this file would be in the same loaction.

Read this thread Mt8, might be hidden on the image your using.

isn't it in var/etc instead of etc/var?

Frenchman

Ur right just got them mixed up, i've config the DM cam it but not in this
receiver in it there is...
var/ect folder
cccam channel info
cccam providers
and in the 1st ect folder i see cccam 2104
but no config file. I d/l and installed a config file through the settings
but just cant find it.
A hidden image was mentioned ? never came across that.
Anyone else used this cam.
Is all a challenge and it dont bother me messing with it till i get it, got the receiver
streaming to the pc just now and its all good except for this.
Thanks

U just need to download a cccam config or make 1 from scratch put your details in and copy over it won't be listed and u will not see it there but it will work...file is hidden..

just do in a telnet session
vi /var/etc/CCcam.cfg

it will show up :)

Digidude posted how to make this cccam.cfg visible again.

I just thought of this question :
Can someone please explain : what is the point of making CCcam.cfg invisible ??? LOL :)

It is a bit like giving 0000 for having acces into the 'blue' panel which is well a bit dull as well ....

to access cccam cfg through miniweb you need to turn the power on while holding the power button, you will get a number the displayed in front panel, then you need to enter that number it into your web browser , if its 160, and your routers address is 192.168.1.1 then you enter 192.168.1.160, and you will access the cccam.cfg under the mini web. make sure you access while number is displayed on the front panel.

Got it:Clap: holding that button down did the job....would never have found
that out if you never told me, thanks...appreciated.

I see you can add a channel list using that, when you d/l a list
and say there 20 files well what exact file do you insert ?

Gota say thats been a great help

aprreciated.
