Is it the one from here, if so it's a .rar file (another compression like .zip) you will need something like winrar to decompress it. Muskrat

So you have decompressed the .bin file and what your question is what do you do with the .bin file once decompressed? Muskrat

Never seen a starview mate but from a quick look around the forum I suggest you have a read at: https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/196159/ which suggests you need a rom loader. https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/195772/ suggests that you ftp the image over https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?threads/195305/ also suggests that you flash with a rs232 cable, possibly a null modem cable. I know nowt about these boxes but in a short while have managed to find these bits. I am sure one of the guru's will advise further but do a search and have a read mate.
