Problem installing USB to Serial for SV2, plz help

Hi,

I have recently purchased a DB9 RS232 Serial Null Modem Starview Cable and USB 2.0 TO RS232 SERIAL DB9 9 PIN ADAPTER CABLE to flash Starview 2. I have downloaded the USB to serial drivers from USB to Serial Adapter driver downloads and documentation

The problem is that it's not installing the drivers. I have tried it on both XP and Vista. Could somebody help me with this please.

if the hardware wizard doesnt pop up automatically when plugged in then go to add new hardware and search and install manually.

failing that then use a pc with a com port

The problem is that when the hardware wizard pops up, it asks me to install the driver from a specific location and when i locate it to the folder that contains the driver files, it doesn't find anything from there

Howcome it (USB2.0-Ser!) is under Other Devices in Device Manager? Shouldn't it be under Ports (COM & LPT)?
