starview 3 not saving channels

not my box, its a friends who i was talking too today in work.

he has flashed the box with the latest software, but everytime he turns it off, he has to rescan for channels. the starview aint saving them. anybody know why this is.

i havent used one of these boxes before, so im just looking for a little info before i have a look at his too see what the problem is.

hi mate have u set default key this saves all the info you just put into the box\!
try menu then 1570 it will open another menu move cursor to default key and press ok
may work may not but its worth a try cheers mark
