Luis Suarez bite: Uruguay striker banned for nine matches

World governing body Fifa have imposed a record nine-match ban on Uruguay striker Luis Suarez for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.
The independent disciplinary committee imposed the suspension after finding the 27-year-old guilty of misconduct.
Suarez has also been banned from all football for four months.

A bit harsh I think,especially on Liverpool,

Hopefully he has also been told to seek professional help

or a dentist

About time rat boy was banned for good.

Well as a Liverpool fan I now want shot of him. We rightly or wrongly have stood by him over the last 2 incidents. How many chances those he need?

A £70 million bid from Barca or Real Madrid would be most welcome right now. Failing that I for one do not want to see him in a Liverpool shirt again.

If he does I have promised my Manc neighbours my collection of Liverpool shirts to clean their cars with,as I wont be needing them.

Nope,
Its not Liverpools fault he is a nutter,but its more so the fans I would have sympathy for,they have no control over players,

As for his ban,it should have only affected his International career,imho,

We have all had nutters in our teams over the years and if he was a UTD player we would most likely be giving out about the ban,
lets not pretend otherwise just because he plays for one of our rivals

Nope dont agree, hes an asshole and needs a good kicking and a worldwide ban.

I think he should have been banned for longer, not really an example to the kids, plus its his third time.
Obviously the bans and fines he has received previously have had no affect on him. So in my opinion he should have received a 12 month ban.

he got off lightly, did I hear on the radio he could of got maximum of 2 years

He is an impulsive person! some of his goals are impulsive and they are incredible he just makes it happen but the flip side is that he is also impulsive with his actions!

3 times though, I also feel sorry for liverpool fans, we all get the banter side but this is out of there hands... they have been punished for something he has done on national duty!
