absolutely magic from utd, pure class.... ronaldo showing why he's world footballer of the year. Whole team played fantastically well, unlucky for fletch though, he's been great throughout the whole season, shame he's gonna miss out...
cracking game, feel sorry for fletch. another uefa cock up i think, you can appeal and overturn a red card in the prem but not in europe:wtf:
Bad decisions are all part of the game and make up a huge part of the banter that surrounds football, get rid of bad decisions and a chunk of the game goes missing for me. Usually a case of swings and roundabouts anyway. The video ref in rugby gets it wrong from time to time because although they use video evidence the final decision is made by a human, leaving it open to human error again. The hell with it, it's football and the ref is part of it whichever end of his cock up your team ends up on.
totally agree with you mate..
its all apart of the game and decisions go for and against every team..
it allows for nice arguments and/or debates with my mates and on forums etc
seems u are correct
Wasn`t fletchers tackle , from behind which is now illegal so the decision was right.
not if he comes from the side like he did, he did not go through fabregas, he put his foot across and won the ball.
You must be a liverpool fan probably, even arsenal fans i talked to have said it wasnt a deserved red card.
As everyone says Fletcher is a pure professional, he doesnt whine, he doesnt make a fuss, he gets on with it, and thats why even fans of opposition team can feel sorry for him.
How an undeserved red card resulting in a player missing the final one of the world's biggest competitions can be compared to a soft free kick is beyond me
If you feel for fletcher , you must feel for the whole chelsea team , did the ref take a bribe?
Your right there mate ref cocked up today big time!
no fookin chanceAt least we can all cheer man utd on now.
