freesat channels

now that i have got the whole thing working thanks to this forum its time to ask about the freeview side to the box. when i put the arial in the rf point in the box and scan the teresstial settings in the box it only finds a half the channels that i get on the dish set up. is this normal?also if am using the freeview side to the box will the epg be better.just dont get this part to the set up ta

Yes quite right the Freeview channels are a poor show ( on Freeview there are several that are not available but this is down to Freeview not the receiver) but still useful, the EPG will depend on the channel mostly just now and next.
