My sly is now unwatchable since the HD channels went. Emailed my provider but they say all is fine, gave me a new sea lion which is worse if anything.

Cheers

if its not there end so they say then its either your Broadband or receiver, Personally though the scapegoat here is them and the word oversubscribed comes to mind

Maybe try changing your cam..check ECM info see the time it is taking to clear..if it's real slow then it's your line.a good time is 0.200 to 0.700 anything over 1second causes glitches and freezing.
What box and image are you running.

You may need to reflash your box and do a fresh install done this for a mate he was having major problems aswell today, have you tryed usein mgcamd 135a instead just install mgcamd change C: to CWS = copy and paste your line in to newcamd.list save and in mg.cfg change G {33} and goto B {00} edit the number here to match your box type that,s only if your provider is usein mgcamd aswell as ccamm and if he,s not google cccamd.list copy your line in the same way you would in cfg and in mg.cfg change G to {32} save ftp over mg.cfg and cccamd.list save start mgcamd this is much better then cccam me thinks regards dubliner

Hi im having a similar problem, were i have my cable and sat line in mgcam but if i record cable i get very high ecm times and some glitching on the sat channels is it because i have both lines in 1 cam

No it will just use strongest line just one at a time..I have the same.

Alrite i was thinking of atv so i can run cccam/sat and mgcamd/cable at the same time so its two softcams running would that work

Not sure mate..but in one box you can only have one type of cam running or it will cause problems..
I was referring to having 2 lines in one config sorry if I confused you..

No i got you, i have my two lines in mgcam, so you cant run two seperate softcams with the two seperate lines at one time

No mate that does cause freezing and glitching etc

Alrite so no alternative then

When you record sat does the cable glitch (the outher way round)

Alrite so no alternative then

The only way was to stop and start one but I believe there is a plugin or something that allows this or something like that.
Don't have a clue what it is I read it a few days ago on other forum..

Ill look into that, to much of a pain switching cams

Get a test line off someone and that will rule out whether thats the issue or not.

It is the issue as soon as i hit record i get a randon glitch hear and there, ecm times are 1.349 stop it and drops back down to 137, two diffrent servers do the same

Its your provider, or you are doing some heavy downloading.

Not always, as above if you are downloading that will cause your overall latency to become high.

No

Not true, you can have as many cams as you want running. Even if you setup 3 cams all trying to access the dvb stream and card reader. Only the first cam to start will have access to them. The other cams will just run in the background doing nothing. It will hit your available memory but thats all

No mate that does cause freezing and glitching etc

No it doesnt

Simple answer is your box is overworked when recording, slowing everything up including ecm times. You could even have a memory leak somewhere. Same happens with my Amiko alien 2

Iv been playing around, and if i record a sat channel i can watch a cable channel its perfect no glitch, so its only when i record cable channels and watch sat were i get the glitch

if that's your ecm /cw times on cable 1.349 or 137 nothing wrong with them times if s%% then !!!!!!!!!

Sat gets the high emc times when i record cable
